How We Are Improving Our Packaging
At NIVEA, we continuously work to further improve our packaging. This includes increasing the use of recycled materials across many packaging applications, expanding the use of recycled aluminium, and designing packaging with recyclability in mind.
Learn more about our packaging initiatives, including recycled plastic, paper- and cardboard-based materials from responsibly sourced origins, and recycled aluminium used across a wide range of packaging applications.

We continuously work to improve our packaging. Our focus is on reducing the use of fossil-based virgin plastic, increasing the use of recycled material, and improving the recyclability and reusability of our packaging where possible.
Explore what we have achieved so far and aim to do to prevent further plastic pollution.
In selected packaging applications, we use paper- and cardboard-based materials to reduce the use of plastic. Where applicable, these materials come from responsibly managed sources that are certified according to recognized standards such as FSC®.
